It is important that they learn... It is important they work together... It is wonderful when we can tie several areas of the curriculum together...  Our two 3rd grade teachers, Francoise Caillat and Sonia Gaspar joined forces during their team teaching time to do just that.  The two 3rd grades worked together on a science project in which they learned about the presence of water in the food we eat.  They had a hypothesis, they planned out the experiment to test it, and they learned.  They took what they learned and documented it on computers and used the information as a writing project.  You put the whole thing together and you get a very sophisticated group effort!  Congratulations 3rd grade!
