On Thursday December 4th, if you were listening, you would have heard the harmonious voices of the LILA choir coming from ABC’s Prospect Studios.  Miss Toni’s LILA choir and a few parents and teacher chaperones were center stage in front of the studio’s magnificently decorated Christmas tree.

After sharing with the captive audience a few of the choir’s own interpretations of some holiday classics, both audience and choir launched into a countdown for the traditional tree lighting.  A few more songs and the kids got to enjoy the generous assortment of cakes and sweets that the studio had prepared for the occasion.  A few students even went to talk to Santa.

Jeudi 4 décembre 2008, 16.45 PM. Les chants retentissent sur le chemin entre le campus de Los Feliz et Prospect Studios.  La chorale du LILA, menée par Toni et quelques parents/professeurs accompagnateurs, rejoint l’endroit idéal pour chanter : sur la « scène » installée devant le sapin des studios.

Après quelques chansons devant un public captivé, tout le personnel du Prospect Studios attend avec impatience le feu vert au «Tree Lighting».  Nous comptons tous ensembles : 5, 4, 3, 2 , 1 ! Le sapin s’illumine. Les élèves chantent à nouveau quelques chansons au rythme de Noël, et vivent un moment magique, en mangeant bonbons, gâteaux et en prenant des photos avec le Père Noël.
