New Los Feliz parents were able to mingle with long time parents and LILA faculty and staff thanks to the efforts of this year’s gala chair, Nella Paterson, and PA president Ai-lin Grison.  The duo planned a cocktail for new families to make sure they felt welcome at LILA and to help facilitate their integration into the LILA family.  They slaved over the organization and preparation of this important event.  They got friends to donate their beautiful home in the Hollywood hills offering the perfect setting for parents to meet each other and get to know LILA a little better.  They watched the video about LILA that Chloe Grison (youtube link below), and as an extra special treat, Miss Toni’s Choir made an appearance.

Un coucher de soleil sur Sunset pour les nouveaux parents

Les nouveaux parents de Los Feliz ont pu sympathiser avec le personnel du LILA ainsi qu’avec les parents actuels. En effet, Nella Paterson (Responsable du Gala 2009) et Ai-lin Grison (Présidente de l’Association des Parents), souhaitaient organiser une soirée cocktail afin que les nouveaux parents se sentent les bienvenus au sein de notre établissement. Les 2 organisatrices n’ont rien laissé au hasard puisqu’elles ont choisi les hauteurs de Sunset (près du château Marmont) pour que nos parents puissent socialiser et découvrir la communauté du LILA, notamment grâce au film créé il y a 2 ans par Chloé Grison (lien ci-dessous). Miss Toni et la Chorale du LILA ont accepté de chanter devant le public qui a tout particulièrement apprécié l’ambiance conviviale.

Merci encore a Alexandre et Celine qui ont chaleureusement prêté leur maison au LILA.
