Much of the criticism that is slung at education and educators these days is the lack of relevance to a student's world.  Technology has developed exponentially and as a result society has evolved tremendously... and yet, education seems far too often to stay the same: Teacher at the front of the class and kids being asked to "power down" when they get to school... Education in our society brings new meaning to the term "old school."

It is for this reason that I love to share examples of student productions that make use of latest technology, and merge the beauty of old world stories and new world communication.

This is a year end production from our first grade Los Feliz class led by teacher Celine Dheherabehere... this short video is well worth the watch... aboslutely gorgeous... a wonderful way to get students to dream, create, and speak in our target language... and I am proud to say that I have no clue as to how they pulled this off and can only thank our parent experts who lent a helping hand.
