On March 28th our 4th and 5th graders had a short training workshop with My Safe LA (www.mysafela.org) and our local fire fighters. The kids watched a DVD about creating an emergency plan at home, then the fire fighters showed them their safety gear and described the purpose of it. Then they all went outdoors for a full tour and description of the ladder and engine trucks.
